Harold looked on as Charlie softly sang the first verse. He moved around a little, awkwardly shuffling around to get some adrenaline. He would need it…and possibly another beer.
“I’m all out of love! I’m so lost without you!” He bellows out the chorus, overpowering Charlie for a quick second before softening up. He puts his arm around her and moved back and forth as if he was drunkenly cradling her.
To be honest, he needed to hold on to something because he felt like he was seconds away from crashing.
Charlie couldn’t help it. She started laughing even as she wrapped her arm around Harold, all but falling against him. She tried her best to keep a straight face as she started singing again, a little louder this time.
“I want you to come back and carry me home, away from these long, lonely nights!”
