“I guess the more things going on, the more things around you begin to blur.”  Harold crosses his arms and stares at the lift buttons. “I wonder if it’s good to just set the world on pause and take a step back.” Harold’s eyes begin to widen as he realize what he just said. “What the hell is wrong with me? I sound like a chapter out of a bloody self-help book.” He shakes his head and looks back to Charlie.

Charlie laughed a little. “I don’t know, sometimes I wonder the same thing. At least with my life. Like maybe I should just take a break to reevaluate things.” She rubbed the back of her neck. “To be honest, though, I don’t think things would have turned out much different even if I hadn’t joined the BSAA.”

They arrived at the lobby, and Charlie became quiet as they stepped out of the lift.
